Stride Cookie Policy

What this covers
This policy explains how Stride uses cookies and similar technologies (such as browser local storage) on https://stride-edu.co.za and in the Stride app. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
What cookies and local storage are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Local storage is a similar way for a site to remember small pieces of information in your browser. We use both only where they are needed to make Stride work and to remember your preferences.
What we use, and why
Stride uses only essential first-party cookies and local storage. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not use third-party tracking cookies to profile you across other websites.

We measure how Stride is used through our own service, storing activity in our own secure database as described in the Privacy Policy. This is not done with third-party advertising or tracking cookies. If we ever introduce optional analytics, we will update this policy, name the provider, and give you a way to decline before any optional cookie is set.
Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Because the cookies we use are essential, disabling them may stop parts of Stride, such as signing in, from working.
Changes
We may update this policy as the Service changes. We will update the effective date when we do.
